The last June, 13th and 14th the International Committee of the Decorative Laminates Industry has been held at Catas.
Two study days in the presence of Catas technicians and the leading decorative plastic laminates manufacturers coming from Texas, Germany, Russia, Turkey and Italy.
On the agenda different topics were discussed, including the links with other European standardization commissions, formaldehyde emissions, food contact, fire resistance.
The insights and discussion on a new technical manual focused on the HPL laminate were particularly important. The document is expected to be completed shortly. It will be aimed at users, craftsmen and designers, focuses on workability and criticality of HPL laminate following cutting, drilling, milling and bending operations.
