CATAS shareholders' meeting took place last Thursday, May 11, at the Chamber of Commerce of Udine and appointed for a second term President Bernardino Ceccarelli, confirming also as components of the board Franco Buttazzoni, Matteo Tonon and Federica Di Fonzo. Maria Chiarvesio joins them as fifth member. The news is, therefore, that the board which will govern the institute for the next three years will reduce from nine to five components, for a leaner management.
A moment of great intensity accompanied the announcement that Angelo Speranza, founder and soul of Catas for the last 48 years, left the position of CEO. However, the council asked him to continue his valuable collaboration by coordinating the renovation and extension of the San Giovanni al Natisone lab after the fire occurred at the end of December.
