Marking of construction products
Since 2014 CATAS is officially authorized to carry out assessment and testing activities to verify the conformity of construction products according to EU Regulation No 305/2011, which specifies the "harmonized" requirements for their marketing in the European Union.
We are a Notified Body for the following harmonized technical standards, with reference to the assessment of the hazardous substances and volatile organic compounds (VOC) requirements:

 

• EN 14342: Wood flooring and parquet flooring - Characteristics, evaluation of conformity and marking
• EN 13964: Ceilings
• EN 13986: Wood-based panels for use in construction - Characteristics, evaluation of conformity and marking
• EN 14041: Resilient flooring, textile and laminate floor coverings
• EN 14904: Surfaces for sports areas
• EN 14915: Interior and external walls with solid wood
