The Finished Products Department carries out tests to assess the mechanical safety, the resistance and the durability of the finished product. The tests are performed in accordance with national, European and international technical standards.

Our strength lies in people: CATAS technicians participate to the relevant international working groups, contributing to the standardization activity.
We are therefore able to assist companies and public administrations in drafting technical and purchasing specifications to be included in tenders or requests for supplies.
In Europe (CEN) and in the international scenario (ISO) CATAS takes part to the Technical Commissions involved in the drafting and revision of technical standards on furniture (CEN/TC 207 "Furniture" and ISO TC 136 "Furniture").
