What is the Commission Regulation (EU) No. 995/2010 or Due Diligence?
The EU Regulation No. 995/2010 also known as "Due Diligence" or "Timber regulation", which aims to combat the trade in illegally sourced timber and products derived from it. E 'was published in the Official Journal of the European Communities on November 12, 2010 and entered into force compulsorily March 3, 2013. This regulation prohibits the placing on the EU market of illegally cut timber and derived products.
