A5) Which foreign standards are accepted in Italy to meet the requirements of the furniture law?

In Italy other standards that the Italian ones are not accepted unless the manufacturer follows the procedure provided by Ministerial Decree 08/05/1991 "Marketing and using in Italy of materials legally recognized in one of the EU countries on the basis of reaction to fire regulations." It is a long and laborious process that most likely resulted in a negative outcome, taking into account the objective difficulties of considering foreign test methods that should be at least equivalent to the Italian ones.
