B9) Is the approval mandatory for products specifically produced or to specific customer requirements?
No, when the manufacturer produces an exclusive lot for a client, it is sufficient that the supply is certified by a laboratory approved by the Home Office. It is also the case of the series products sold by a catalogue, but supplied with modifications on customer request, for example, upholstered furniture upholstered with a fabric chosen by the customer. It would not have sense to request the approval because it is not mass production.
